- It is not proven that the Elizabeth who dies on this date is the d/o John Nicholas and Phillipina (BACHMAN) DOREY. The evidence is as follows:
a. John and Phillipina are known to have a daughter Elizabeth who is unmarried in 1858.
b. Like her brother Jubal, she is not mentioned in the Lunenburg Baptist Register, which appears to make her one of the to youngest children.
c. She seem to appear in the 1981 Census living with a LANGILLE family at Summerside, which is near Rhodes Corner where Elizabeth DOREY (1825 - 1890) is buried.
d. She is buried next to two DOREY's who would be her niece and nephew if she is d/o John and Phillipina.
So I believe she is the d/o John and Phillipina. [Bob H]
