  There is no doubt that Diana was born 15 Dec 1854, d/o Benjamin SILVER and Mary Ann MOSHER, as she is referred to as Diana SILVER and Diana MOSHER. The question is--which Mary Ann MOSHER was her mother? She apparently was illegitimate and thus there is no parents' marriage record to provide clues. The answer to this question seems to lie in the fact that, when Diana's first husband dies and she remarries, her two children by her first husband are taken in and raised by William CLEVELAND and his wife Mary Ann MOSHER 1838, who would be a leading candidate even without taking in her apparent grandchildren.
