  We know (or think) Daniel was born on 12 Feb 1828 in Wilmot Township, and we also know that, on 25 Dec 1956, he marries Sarah Ann WILKINS, sister of his third wife, Aseneath WILKINS. From a Mount Hanley cemetery marker, we know that the Sarah BRUCE who is wife of Daniel and who dies in 1856 is exactly the same age as Daniel. We also know that she dies two months before he marries Sarah WILKINS. A quick remarriage is a common scenario when a widower is left with an infant child. So I think it's most likely that Sarah 1828, whoever she is, is the first of four wives of the same Daniel BRUCE, and if I had to guess, it would be that Sarah 1828 dies in childbirth.
