Notes |
- In the 1871 Census of Lunenburg, there are two families living in Dwelling #206. The first, #262, is that of one Edward MOSHER age 33 and his wife Sophia; the second, #264, is that of one David MOSHER age 29 and his wife, who is also named Sophia. Living in the next dwelling is a Regina MOSHER, age 58, and her daughter Mary Ann, age 14. It seems clear that Regina is Regina (MOSHER) MEISNER, widow of Caspar, that Mary Ann is her daughter, and that the David next door is her son. Now since Caspar and Regina m. in 1834 and their first known (at least from birth records) son, David, is b. 1840, that leaves a gap into which Edward fits rather nicely. Therefore, he has been placed in this family pending the discovery of further evidence.
