• Notes

  According to the Terence Bay deaths manuscript, two of their daughters died in Dec 1897, and from other sources it was almost surely of diphtheria. However, the 1901 Census of this family is very confusing since the dates of birth for several daughters conflict with dates shown in the Emmanuel Anglican Parish Register.
