- Here is Kim Stevens' transcript of an entry in the MBA register:
Eisenhauer, Nicholas 1846-10-07 76 y 11 m 23 d MBA Indian Point
and it tells us three things. First, it says that he was Anglican, and we know that his two contemporary John Nicholas EISENHAUER's were Baptist and/or Dutch Reformed. Second, it tells us that he lived at Indian Point. The only Anglican EISENHAUER family that fits [that I know of] is that of George and Anna Christina (MOSHER) EISENHAUER. Third, it says that he was born 17 Oct 1769. But we know from the SJAL register that he had twin siblings b. 20 Jul 1769, so an Oct 1769 DOB is impossible. So my best guess is that his [notoriously inaccurate] death date was off by a year.
But it's also possible that he was actually brother Johann Peter EISENHAUER 1769. :-)
