  Three children of Angelina SLAUNWHITE, single woman, were baptised at St. Luke's in 1885. However, in their marriage records, two of Angelina SLAUNWHITE's children gave their name as Innes, and their father's name as James. [Iris Shea] Also, the birth record of Isabella SLAUNWHITE, illegitimate daughter of Lena SLAUNWHITE, shows the father as James Innes. [Bob H] James Thomas Innes, b. 9 Dec 1853, lived in proximity to Angelina, was essentially the same age as Angelina, was her second cousin once removed (and so probably would have been acquainted with her), thus he seems to be the most likely candidate for the James Innes Angelina's children reported as their father.
