  • Notes
    • There is no proof that the wife of William Peter EISENHAUER is Helen, d/o Joseph and Rachel Regina (EISENHAUER) HAMM. What is known to be fact is that on 23 Dec 1883, William Peter EISENHAUER marries Eleanor HYSON, widow of William HYSON and that, at her marriage to William EISNEHAUER, Eleanor gives her parents as Joseph and Rachel, her age as 42, and her POB as Mahone Bay. Now when Lunenburg Church records are searched for a couple named Joseph and Rachel who of the right vintage, only three are found and of these three, only Joseph and Rachel HAMM live at or near Mahone Bay. Further, they have a known daughter named Helen who would be age 44 on Dec 1883.
