Notes - He first appears in the 1891 Census of Chester as 'Blonney" HILTZ, living with the widowed Eliza and her son Howard. It is clear from Massachusetts records that he is Blenum D. HILTZ, and at marriage he gives his parents as William and Eliza HILTZ. He cannot be found (at least by me) in the 1881 Census of NS, and certainly does not appear in the family of William and Ann Eliza in 1881; and, Ann Eliza (CORKUM) HILTZ would be age 51 when he was born. So the best guess would seem to be that either he was adopted some time between 1881 and 1891, or he is an illegitimate grandson.
