  He appears as Maynard ROBAR in the 1921 Census , but his birth and death records name him Lemuel Clifford ROBAR. His death record gives his parents as Stephen ROBAR and Clara DEMONE, but his birth record gives his parents and Stephen ROBAR and Flody ROBAR. If an illegitimate child was raised by his grandparents, this is what one would sometimes see in NS records. And although Flody is three months shy of age 14 when Lemuel is born, it is certainly possible that she is the biological mother. He appears as Maynard ROBAR in the 1921 Census , but his birth and death records name him Lemuel Clifford ROBAR. His death record gives his parents as Stephen ROBAR and Clara DEMONE, but his birth record gives his parents and Stephen ROBAR and Flody ROBAR. If an illegitimate child was raised by his grandparents, this is what one would sometimes see in NS records.
