Notes |
- The 1911 Census states that Emily was b. Dec 1903, which is impossible if her brother Milton was born Feb 1904. However, since she is b. Dec 1903 and is age 8, this is also impossible since the census was taken in May-June 1911. So it seems most likely that she is b. Dec 1902. But there is no sign of either Emily or Milton in the OLMC register.
It is possible that Emily and her sister Sarah (see notes for Sarah) are the same person. [Bob H]All that is known about this person at the moment is that she is buried next to a woman whom Terence Bay Deaths identifies as the wife of Edward Howard, and that she is identified in Terence Bay Deaths as the wife of John HOWARD. In all likelihood, these men are the brothers John and Edward Francis HOWARD, sons of James and Clara (Slaunwhite) HOWARD. Since John is buried with his wife, Mary Ann, and since both he and she died much later (1978/1985), it would appear that John remarried after Emily's death. [Bob H]
