  Her obit states that she was born Mushaboom and it names her parents as Joseph and Sadie Hubley; further, it lists a sister--Anna WESTHAVER of Sheet Harbour. Given Margaret parents' names and the location, I suspect that sister Anna is Anna May Lottie HUBLEY, who marries Thomas William WESTHAVER at Sober Island in 1925, thus placing Margaet in this family. Now on 23 Jul 1921, a Margaret Kathleen HUBLEY marries Stephen Christoff in Halifax and their daughter Jennie is b. 02 Nov 1921; at marriage, she gives her parents as Joseph HUBLEY and Anna HUBLEY(maiden name) and states that she resides at Halifax. And, at marriage, the bride of William SLAUENWHITE states that she is Margaret Kathleen HUBLEY, that her parents are Joseph HUBLEY and Anna HUBLEY (maiden name), and that she resides at Halifax. And despite minor discrepancies, there is nothing on either marriage return slip that would lead one to believe they are different people. But there is a problem. Margaret Kathleen (HUBLEY) CHRISTOFF has a daughter, Jennie May CHRISTOFF in Nov 1921, and the Margaret KATHLEEN HUBLEY who marries William SLAUENWHITE apparently has an illegitimate son, Harry Arnold HUBLEY in Feb 1922. Further, the obit for the Maragaret Kathleen does not mention this son, who dies at age 16. Given that the evidence of the marriage records, and lacking any evidence other than a date of birth on a death record, I am inclined to believe that these two Margaret Kathleen's are the same person and the conflict in the dates of birth of the children are due to an error in the DOB on son Harold Arnold HUBLEY's death record.
