There is a baptismal record for son Albert CROUSE b. 6 May 1851, but no record of son Eldred b. 6 Apr 1851; however, it's clear that John Jacob and Sophia cannot have sons who were born one mothe apart. There doesn't seem to be any further record [at least that I can find] of Eldred 1846, and since there is no baptismal record for Eldred 1851, my guess is that either the name was reused in 1851 and "Albert" is a mistake, or son Albert somehow acquired his the name of his deceased brother, Eldred 1846.
