  Any number of genealogies have her dying in 1877; but this does not appear to be true, for two reasons. First, the ELiza NOWE who die sin 1877 is shown by her cemetery inscritpion to be the first wide of Edmund NOWE, which makes her Eliza (SARTY) NOWE. Second, in the 1891 Census of Eagle Head, Queens, the family of her husband John NOWE inlcudes both a wife ELiza (who is the exact age of Eliza (CONRAD) NOWE), but also Eliza CONRAD's brother Harry.
