Notes - Some genealogies have placed a son, Andreas MOSSMAN b. 1805, who m. Elizabeth CHAPMAN in 1825, in this family. And while there is an Andrew MOSSMAN who m. 1825 in Annapolis County, there are four things wrong with placing him in this family. First, that Andrew MOSSMAN m. an Isabella WILSON. Second, said Andrew MOSSMAN is a marriage witness in 1819, when he would be age 14 if he were born in 1805. Third, he appears to have a sister named Martha. And fourth, while all of the baptisms of the other children in this family are recorded at the Dutch Reformed Church, Lunenburg, there is no record of him in the DRL register.
