  At his marriage in 1921, he lists his mother as Annie MARTIN but lists his father as William J. BURNS and gives his surname as BURNS, but It does not seem possible that Annie could have married William BURNS or that William BURNS was his biological father. Also, his obit gives the surname of his siblings as BURNS, which appears to be a mistaken assumption by someone. The proof that William SPEARS and Frank BURNS are the same person is the list of siblings in his obit. At his marriage in 1921, he lists his mother as Annie MARTIN but lists his father as William J.
