    • His stone says only that he died at age 4 months in 27 May, and gives no year. Assuming he was legitimate, unless he was twin to Laura Ann, he must have been born 1865 since his father died on 12 May 1865. Given these circumstances and knowing the epidemics that frequently ravaged the area, it seems likely that both deaths were from the same CAUSe, reinforcing the notion that Thomas was born 1865.
