  Her parents have not yet been identified for certain. Her DOB is not given in the SPFV register, but given her date of Baptism would indicate an 1838 birth, and her parents are given as John James and Sarah, North Shore, while the parents of John William Harnish, b. 31 Mar 1838, are given as Jacob and Sarah. Now Jacob is German for James, and it is humanly possible that Caroline could be the sister of John William, but the evidence seems to point away from that. The other possibility is that she is the d/o the John James and Sarah who live at Mill Cove, and so this is where she is placed, pending discovery of further evidence.
