    • Family legend has it that either the father or grandfather of William Joseph HARNISH was lost at sea. If so, it cannot be his grandfather, whose death record states that he died of cancer in Quincy, MA. However, David Harnish does not appear in any known Canadian, US, or UK record after 1871, when he marries. So if the legend is true, it would appear to be David who is lost at sea. [Bob H]
