HARNISH's marriage record states that he is the son of Isaac and Hannah (LITCH) HARNISH, the 1901 Census lists him as thier son and, in 1942, his brother Harris C. signs an affadavit stating that he is their son. Yet despite all this, the fact remains that he was born when his mother was age 49, which often indicates that the child is actually an illegitmate grandson. Also, note that his closest sibling is born when Hannah (MOORE) HARNISH LITCH is age 40.
