- It is certain that a Martin SLAUNWHITE of Terence Bay married a Lena SLAUNWHITE of Terence Bay and that they had three children between about 1902 and 1906. Although their descendants are known, the only other thing that seems to be known for certain about this couple is that their children were Roman Catholic. By process of elimination, all but one Terence Bay SLAUNWHITEs who possessed a given name of Martin seem to be ruled out, leaving only Thomas Martin. Also, all known Lena, Selena, and Magdalena SLAUNWHITEs can similarly be ruled out as well, leaving only Rose [Lena]. The fact that both Thomas Martin and Rose [Lena] were Catholic, also adds some degree of credibility to the notion that they were the Martin and Lena. [Bob H]
