- There is a NS Marriage bond for Charles FOSTER and Ann Eliza HUBLEY (1841) dated 1 Feb 1858; and, it is signed by Alexander HUBLEY, Inn-keeper, which ID's Ann Eliza as the d/o Alexander 1814. Now Ann Eliza says that she is a Spinster when she marries William GEIZER, so maybe the marriage to Charles Foster never happened. But it is not at all unusual to see a young widow say that she is a spinster when she remarries. So, Charles FOSTER is carried here as a first husband, if for no other reason than that it's probably better to mention him in than to omit him. [Bob H]
