Notes |
- The groom appears as Charles E. HUBLEY in two Census records, a marriage record, and two city directories, and both Censuses place his DOB at about 1869. However, there is no Charles E. HUBLEY born in NS in1869, and the “E.” in the above records is both distinct and consistent. However, there is a Charles Fraser HUBLEY b. 10 Mar 1868.
The only possibilty is Charles Edwin HUBLEY b. 20 Feb 1874. However, the is also an “Edward Charles HUBLEY of Halifax” b. 1874 - 1877 to be accounted for, and someone born at SMB is mopre likely to give Halifax as thier home (upon enlisting in the army) than someone born at New Cumberland.
So, until further evidence is uncovered, Charles Fraser HUBLEY is carried here as the h/o Addie SEWALL. [Bob H]
